Frequently Asked Questions
Our team are all UK based with our head office in central Manchester, but we work with clients across the world in countries such as the USA, Canada and Australia.
As with many service businesses now, we predominantly manage communications remotely, but if you’d like to arrange an in-person discussion at our Manchester office, we’re very happy to accommodate that.
CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) by design focuses on the single metric of Conversion Rate. The main issue with only focusing on overall site conversion rate is that you’ll inevitably ignore other key metrics that drive site performance.
CVO (Customer Value Optimisation) is a more holistic approach to improving ecommerce site performance. We look at all key site metrics, micro conversions as well as macro, and even aspects of business performance that aren’t directly measurable through traditional website performance measurement.
You can learn more about CVO via our page here: What is CVO
Yes, we work with ecommerce brands of all sizes. For one off project work like a new UX redesign or a rebuild of your Klaviyo email automated flows, you don’t necessarily need to be turning over a significant amount of revenue (these projects can be completed in advance to give you a great foundation for ecommerce growth) if you have the funds available to invest in these areas at an early stage.
For ongoing services like our Split Testing Management, you do need to be generating a reasonable number of orders to give us sufficient data to work with. This varies case by case but as a starting point, if your ecommerce store currently processes less than 50-100 orders per day, it’s probably not going to make sense to invest in split testing until you’ve scaled to that level.
Not directly, but our sister agency Smartebusiness Development have a huge amount of experience in Magento and Shopify development, and many of our clients at Scale Beyond also work with Smartebusiness on the development side.
Note for our services like Split Testing Management, we’re completely platform agnostic. As long as your development team is able to implement the necessary tracking code, we can (and have) run split testing on any platform, including bespoke systems.
It’s no problem at all from our side for you to keep your existing development partner; we’ll just pass any work to you (be it new UX designs, development recommendations from split testing results and so on) in a developer friendly format, which you can then give directly to your development partner (or your internal development team) for implementation.
